ASCS is proud and excited to be continuing two special programs this year for our students who enjoy the performance choir experience. ASCS Select Middle School Choir is open by audition to students in Grades 5 - 8 sand ASCS Select Junior Choir is open by audition to students in grades 3 & 4.  Membership will be limited to maxiumum of 18 students per group. 

Both groups will be performing at the Christmas Concert, Spring Arts Festival and additional school events.

Both groups are scheduled during the school day, often during lunch recess time.  Select choir also meets on Tuesdays after school. Please see below.

Some additional info - 

ASCS Select Middle School Choir - Gr 5 - 8

• Auditions - in school - date TBA
• Members must be able to commit to additional Tuesday after school rehearsals weekly, October  - May . Extended Care fees apply (as with all after school clubs )
• Required dress for concerts:
  • Black dress shirt or blouse 
  • Black dress slacks or knee length skirt  - no jeans or leggings - a black knee length dress also acceptable.
  • No color embelishments on any clothing
  • Black dress shoes (no high heels, sneakers or sandals)
  • Neutral or black hoseiry for girls, black socks for boys
• ASCS Select Choir t-shirt will be provided by the school for the some concert(s). Members will also need jeans (no rips, no leggings/jeggings) and sneakers.
