ASCS will continue to offer Extended Care beginning at 6:30 am and ending after school at 5:30 pm.

Signup for Extended Care is not necessary. 
 Parents of students in Preschool - Grade 2 are asked to communicate with your child's teacher if your student will be remaing for Extended Care, so that they may be brought there at dismissal.

Extended Care rates for 2022-2023 may be found in the Parent & Student Handbook.
Families are required to reconcile their Extended Care balances in a timely fashion  - failure to meet financial obligations may result in not being permitted to use the service.

Morning Extended Care (6:30 am - 7:45 am)
Parents may accompany their student to the entry door for their grade level, beginning at 6:30 am, but may not enter the school building. 

• PreK & K students will enter through the playground side doors. PreK & K students will be assigned to cohorts which will be supervised in the PreK and K flex room within the PreK and K suites.
• Grades 1 - 8 will enter through the gym door to the left of the lobby entrance and will be directed to a specific location in the gym.   Students should bring a book or other small item to occupy their time. Cell phones and electronics may not be used.

After School Extended Care (2:30  - 5:30 pm)
Students who are remaining for Extended Care will report directly to  their assigned area. Snacks brought from home may be consumed between 2:35 an 3:00 pm. An opportunity for outside or inside play and homework time will be provided. Students may bring a book or small item to keep themselves occupied. Cell phones and electronics may not be used.

• Students in Grades PreK and K may be picked up at the door nearest the playground.until 3:15 pm. As of 3:30 pm these students join the general school extended care population and will be dismissed from the playground or cafeteria.
• Students in grades 1-8 will have an opportunity for snack and outdoor play, weather permitting. Parents may pick up Grade 1 - 8 students at the gym door near the lobby entrance.
• Students in Grades 5 - 8 have the opportunity to remain in the Moore Middle School building for Homework Club between 2:30 -3:30 pm to work on homework or receive extra help on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
• Students in Grades 1 - 8 who have participated in an after school activity/club  or Middle School Homework Club and who have not been picked up by a parent will be sent to the cafeteria for Extended Care and billed accordingly. Please note that students are not permitted to wait for pickup outside unsupervised.
